We can be thankful for
the birds, flowers and trees.
We can be thankful for Dogs,
kittens and bees.
We can be thankful for our homes,
churches and prayers.
We can be thankful for our lakes,
rivers and bears.
We can be thankful for our parents
who brought us to be.
we can be thankful for the babies,
a creation to see.
We can be thankful for the friendship,
kindness and love.
We can be thankful for the peace
displayed by the dove.
We can be thankful for our leaders
who work so hard.
We can be thankful for the savior,
Jesus Christ Our Lord.
We can go on and on.
But what we are trying to say,
“We thank the good Lord for
Our Thanksgiving Day”
